Thanks for the nice summary. This seems to reinforce a hunch I had that it's a mistake for most puzzle books to be organized by theme, and in most cases it would be better to do mixed practice.

Thanks! The other hunch you had was also probably correct. It appears better to just recreate your opening knowledge OTB and then go see what you forgot. Counts as retrieval practice.
